In Job 24, Job talked about all the evil things people do, stealing, hurting the poor, living selfishly, and yet they seem to get away with it. He asked why God doesn’t step in faster. This is something many of us wonder. Divine justice might seem delayed, but it is never forgotten by God.
In Job 25, Bildad gave a very short speech. He said God is perfect and holy, and humans are like maggots compared to Him. While it’s true that God is holy, Bildad’s message was mean. He was using truth in a way that hurt instead of helped. Truth with love is always the answer.
In Job 26, Job gave a beautiful picture of God’s greatness. Even though Job was hurting, he still saw God’s greatness.
In Job 27, Job said he would never lie to make people think he had sinned when he hadn’t. He held on to his innocence. Job knew that staying honest before God was more important than pleasing people.
In Job 28, Job said that people dig deep into the earth to find gold and gems, but true wisdom is even harder to find. He said wisdom doesn’t come from the earth or the sea. Only God understands where it lives. That wisdom starts when we respect and trust God. We do not have all the answers.
In Psalm 145, this psalm is a joyful praise song. It says that God is full of mercy, slow to anger, and rich in love.
