In Isaiah 18, a mysterious message is delivered to a distant nation. God sees everyone, everywhere, even those we rarely think about He works quietly in the background.

Isaiah 19–20 focus on Egypt. Egypt, at one time a world power, is now trembling. God isn’t just Israel’s God. Egypt and Assyria are most definitely invited into His family.

In Isaiah 21, the fall of Babylon is predicted. Judgment comes, no matter how secure a kingdom feels.

Isaiah 22 turns to Jerusalem. They too must face the truth. There’s mourning, but people throw parties instead of being remorseful. God warns don’t numb your pain with distractions but instead face it with faith. How do you numb your pain?

Proverbs 6 is packed with practical wisdom. Avoid laziness, don’t sign foolish financial agreements, and stay far from the path of sexual sin; you can’t hold it and not get burned.
