In Isaiah 39, King Hezekiah makes a critical mistake. After recovering from his illness, he proudly shows off all his treasures to visitors from Babylon. Isaiah warns him that one day, Babylon will carry it all away, including his descendants.

In Isaiah 40, the tone transitions beautifully. This chapter is full of reassurance. He gives strength to the exhausted and lifts up those who trust in Him.

Isaiah 41 reminds us that when the Almighty is with you, there’s no reason to fear.

In Proverbs 11, we see clear contrasts. Integrity leads to safety, generosity leads to blessing, and wise people bring life to others. Greed and pride, on the other hand, lead to downfall.
