Day 169 Isaiah 61-64

Isaiah 61 define Jesus’ mission. God rebuilds ruined places and restores dignity. This is the Gospel in action. What Jesus began, we are called to continue.

In Isaiah 62, Jerusalem will no longer be called forsaken. Watchmen cry out day and night for God to fulfill His promises. Prayer is not passive. Intercede with passion!

In Isaiah 63, a marked warrior comes from Edom. God remembers His past mercy, but also Israel’s rebellion.

In Isaiah 64, the prophet pleads with God to come down in power, like He did in the past. When we feel overwhelmed, cry out! He is listening.
