In Jeremiah 10, Jeremiah mocks idols because they can’t walk or speak. “They are worthless, a work of delusion.” In contrast, the Lord is the true and living God. What am I trusting in that has no real power to save me?

In Jeremiah 11, Jeremiah learns of a death plot against him for speaking the truth, even from his own hometown. Truth often costs something. Will I stay faithful when it’s uncomfortable? Obedience is not always popular, but it is always worth it.

Why do bad people prosper? It’s a timeless question. In Jeremiah 12, God answers by calling Jeremiah to deeper endurance. Life won’t always feel fair, but God sees everything, preparing us for the long haul.

In Ecclesiastes 4, This chapter highlights the pain of oppression, the futility of envy-driven work, and the isolation of the self-made life. Two are better than one; a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Am I chasing success at the cost of connection?
