God sends a message through Amos. Consequences are coming for the surrounding nations because of their violence and cruelty. It’s a reminder that God sees all injustice, no matter who does it. In Amos 2, God’s warning turns toward Judah and Israel. They have rejected His law, hurt the poor, and lived in pride. God cares about how we treat others, faith isn’t real if our actions harm people. In Amos 3, God explains why He must speak and act. If trouble comes, it’s not random, it’s a warning to turn back to Him. Listening to His voice now can save us from much bigger pain later. Psalm 26 is a prayer of confidence and integrity. The writer asks God to test their heart, to see their honesty and love for His ways. It challenges us to live so that our actions match our faith.
