In Amos 7, Amos sees visions of God’s justice, but he prays and asks God to stop, and God listens. When Amos speaks the truth, a priest tells him to go away. This reminds us that doing what's right may not always be popular, but it's still worth it. In Amos 8, God shows a vision of ripe fruit, meaning Israel’s time is almost up. The people cared more about money than people and ignored the poor. When we stop listening to God and chasing justice, we lose what matters most. In Amos 9, God says He will bring consequences for those who do wrong, but that’s not the end of the story. He promises to rebuild and make things good again. Even when we mess up, God still loves us and gives us a fresh start. In Psalm 28, David cries out for help and trusts that God hears his voice. He thanks God for being his strength and protector. When we feel weak, we can pray knowing God listens and gives us the help we need.
