Zechariah 13 talks about a time of improvement and molding, like gold in fire, when God’s people are drawn closer to Him. Even though the process may feel difficult, it shows His deep love, because He is shaping a people who truly belong to Him In Zechariah 14, This final chapter looks ahead to a future day when the Lord Himself will reign as King over the whole earth. It paints a picture of a world where God’s goodness fills everything. Just as a new sunrise pushes away the night, God promises a future where His light will cover all places. In Psalm 42, The psalmist shares a deep longing for God, comparing his heart to a deer thirsty for water. He remembers times of joy in worship but now feels far from God, almost like standing in a dry place. This teaches us to recognize spiritual dryness. It reminds us that when we feel down or distant, we can reach out and He will be there.
