In Luke 16, Jesus tells a story about a manager who wasted his master’s money. He warns us to be wise with what we have, because money won’t last forever. He also says we can’t serve both God and riches. Then He tells about a rich man who ignored a poor man named Lazarus. After death, the rich man was left with nothing, and Lazarus was comforted.

In Luke 17, Jesus talks about forgiveness and faith. He says even a tiny bit of real faith can do big things. On His way to Jerusalem, He heals ten men, but only one comes back to thank Him. Gratitude matters to God.

In Luke 18, Jesus tells a story about a widow who kept asking a judge for help until he finally gave in. Persistence pays off. Then He talks about a Pharisee who bragged in prayer and a tax collector who asked humbly for mercy. God honored the humble one. Jesus welcomes children and says the kingdom of God belongs to people who trust like them. A rich ruler asks how to follow God but chooses his money instead, and walks away sad. Finally, Jesus heals a blind man who calls out to Him, showing that God always hears those who reach for Him.

Psalm 66 calls everyone to praise God. It remembers hard times but celebrates how God rescued His people. It shows that God listens when His people pray and never turns away from them.
