After Jesus was crucified ✝️, His friends thought the story was over 😔. Their hearts were broken 💔 and their hopes were gone 🌫️. But then came the third day 🌅, and everything changed ✨. The tomb was empty 🪦, and Jesus was alive again 🙌. He appeared to His disciples many times 👥, showing them His scars ✋, eating meals with them 🍞🐟, and proving that death could not hold Him 💪.

The Gospel of John ends with this hope 🌟: Jesus is alive ✝️✨, and He sends His followers to continue His work 🕊️. But the story doesn’t stop there 🚶‍♂️➡️. The book of Acts picks up right where John leaves off 📖➡️📖. Jesus promises the Holy Spirit will come 🔥, giving His followers the courage 💪 and power ⚡ they need. No longer hiding in fear 😨, they are now called to go out boldly 🦁, carrying His message of love ❤️ and life 🌍 to the whole world.

Acts is the story of ordinary people 👥, filled with God’s Spirit ✝️🔥, stepping into the mission Jesus began 🚀. It shows how the good news 📣 moves from one small group in Jerusalem 🏙️ to people everywhere 🌎, including us today 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️.

In Acts 1️⃣, after Jesus rose ✝️✨, He spent forty days teaching 📚 His friends about God’s kingdom 👑. He told them to wait ⏳ for the Holy Spirit 🔥, who would give them power ⚡ to share His message 📣 everywhere 🌍. Then Jesus returned to heaven ☁️⬆️. The disciples prayed 🙏 and chose Matthias 👤 to take Judas’s place. This shows us how important it is to wait on God’s timing ⏳ and to pray together 🙌 for guidance 🧭. Just as the disciples were preparing for a mission 🌎, we can remember that our own lives are part of God’s bigger story ✝️✨.

In Acts 2️⃣, at Pentecost 🔥, the Holy Spirit came like wind 💨 and fire 🔥. The disciples spoke in many languages 🗣️🌐 so everyone could hear about Jesus ✝️. Peter preached 🎤, and thousands believed 🙌 and were baptized 💧. The new believers prayed 🙏, shared food 🍲, and cared for each other ❤️. This was the birth of the church ⛪, where people from many nations 🌎 became one family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Today, when we welcome 🤝 and care for others 💕, we carry on that same Spirit-filled mission of unity 🌈🔥.

In Acts 3️⃣, Peter and John healed a man who had never walked 🧑‍🦽➡️🚶‍♂️. The man jumped up 🙌, praising God ✝️. Peter explained 📢 the miracle showed Jesus gives new life 🌱. The temple was crowded with people 👥, and this healing made everyone stop ✋ and pay attention 👀. It reminds us that God can lift us up 🕊️ when we feel stuck or weak 💔➡️💪. Sometimes His help comes in ways we don’t expect 🌟, but always to show His love ❤️ and give us strength ⚡.

In Psalm 76️⃣, this psalm praises God’s power ✝️💪. He is greater than all nations 🌍 and brings peace 🕊️ when things feel overwhelming 😰. Long ago ⏳, people sang this psalm 🎶 to remember how God protected them 🛡️ during times of war ⚔️. For us today 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️, it is a reminder that God is stronger 💪 than any fear 😨 or problem we face, and His peace 🕊️ can quiet the storms 🌊 inside our hearts ❤️.
