In Romans 4, Paul explains that Abraham was called righteous because he trusted God, not because of what he did. Abraham believed God’s promise even when it seemed impossible, and that faith made all the difference. Paul reminds us that we are made right with God when we believe His promises and trust His heart. It is not about being perfect. It never was, and it never will be. We can take that off our list of things to do.
In Romans 5, Paul celebrates the incredible gift of God’s grace. Through Jesus, we are no longer separated from God but brought close as His children. Paul says that when trouble comes, it can actually help our faith grow stronger because we learn to rely on God’s love.
In Romans 6, Paul explains that following Jesus means living a brand-new life. When we choose Him, it is like dying to our old ways and rising to something better. We are no longer trapped by guilt or fear because God’s grace gives us freedom. Paul encourages believers to live for what is good and true, letting their lives shine with gratitude.
Psalm 87 is a short and joyful song that celebrates the city of God, Jerusalem. It reminds the people that being part of God’s family is an honor filled with love and belonging.
