In Romans 13, Paul teaches that living for God means showing respect, love, and peace toward others. It’s easy to say we live for God, but Paul reminds us that real faith shows up in how we treat people. Do we show respect even when we disagree? Do we bring peace when things feel uncertain? Do we love others without conditions or limits? Words mean little if our lives don’t show God’s heart. Maybe it’s time to look closer and ask, If I say I follow Jesus, can others see Him in me?
In Romans 14, Paul encourages believers to be patient and understanding with one another. Some people feel comfortable eating certain foods, while others do not, but Paul explains that what matters most is honoring God and treating others with respect. Instead of judging or arguing, we are called to build each other up.
In Romans 15, Paul celebrates how the good news has spread beyond Israel to all nations. He thanks the believers for their generosity and faith, and he prays for strength to continue his mission. Paul’s heart overflows with hope. Together, believers are meant to encourage each other and carry this same hope into the world.
In Romans 16, Paul closes his letter with warm greetings to his many friends in faith. He honors the men and women who have served beside him and warns the church to stay away from those who cause division. Paul ends with a powerful reminder: Stay true to what you’ve learned, protect unity, and trust that God’s peace and power will win in the end.
Psalm 90 is a prayer of Moses, reflecting on the greatness of God and the shortness of human life. He asks God to teach us to number our days wisely so that we live with purpose and gratitude.
