At the beginning of 1 Corinthians 15–16, Paul is still in Ephesus during his third missionary journey, finishing his heartfelt letter to the church in Corinth. He has poured out his heart in every chapter, teaching, correcting, and encouraging them to live their faith with love and unity. Now, as he concludes his letter, Paul’s tone is filled with hope and victory.

In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul explains the importance of Jesus’ resurrection. He reminds the believers that without it, their faith would have no power or purpose. But because Jesus rose from the dead, death has lost its strength.Paul describes how one day all believers will also rise, transformed into new and glorious bodies that will never die.His words shine with hope and joy, like light breaking through the darkness. He concludes by saying that thanks to this victory, nothing we do for the Lord is in vain. It’s a reminder that our faith, love, and service have deep value in God’s plan.

In 1 Corinthians 16, Paul gives final instructions and affectionate greetings. He encourages the church to be generous in helping others, especially fellow believers in need.He also mentions his travel plans and the friends who serve alongside him.His closing words are filled with strength and affection:“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.”

Psalm 96 calls everyone, everywhere, to sing a new song to the Lord.It is a celebration of the greatness and glory of God, declaring that only He is worthy of praise and honor forever.
