🚶♂️ After being released from prison, Paul travels again, continuing to visit and strengthen young churches. From somewhere near Nicopolis, he writes to his friend Titus, who is helping organize new believers on the island of Crete. Paul’s words guide him to build strong leaders and remind the church to live kindly and honorably.
📜 In Titus 1, Paul writes to his friend Titus, who is helping organize new churches on the island of Crete. Paul explains that church leaders should live with honesty, self-control, and a caring heart so they can be good examples to others. He warns Titus about false teachers who care more about arguments than truth.
💬 In Titus 2, Paul gives advice for different groups in the church—older men and women, young people, and workers—encouraging everyone to live wisely and respectfully. He says that when we live with goodness and integrity, others can see the beauty of God’s truth. Paul reminds them that God’s grace teaches us how to live differently, saying no to what’s harmful and yes to what’s right.
🤝 In Titus 3, Paul encourages believers to be gentle, patient, and ready to do good in their communities. He reminds them that everyone has made mistakes, but God’s mercy saved us—not because of anything we did, but because of His love.
🎵 In Psalm 116, the writer gives thanks to God for rescuing him in a moment of deep fear and pain. The psalmist promises to keep trusting God and to tell others of His goodness. It’s a song of gratitude that reminds us that when we call out to God, He listens, comforts, and gives us the strength to keep walking in faith.
