Day 45 - Numbers 17-18, Psalm 45

Yesterday I was reflecting on how good we are doing. We have not missed a day together. I have learned so much on my individual journey and even more because you are here doing this with me.

In Numbers 17, After Korah’s rebellion, God confirms Aaron as His chosen high priest by making his staff miraculously sprout, bud, and bloom while the others remain lifeless. Our lives also sprout and bloom when we are on His chosen path for our lives.

God establishes the roles of the priests and Levites, making them responsible for the Tabernacle. In return, they receive tithes and offerings as their provision, but they must serve faithfully. Don’t hold back when you want to support someone that you feel serves God faithfully. To give themselves over entirely in service, they need your support.

Psalm 45 is a royal wedding song, symbolizing Christ’s reign. It is beautiful to think of a life lived married to Christ, a perfect provider and powerful protector. With a promise of joy upon commitment, all I can hope is that it perpetuates through all generations.
