Day 49 - Numbers 28-30, Psalm 49

God instructs Moses on the sacrifices Israel must bring regularly (Numbers 28): daily offerings, sabbath offerings and monthly offerings. What does this mean to us nowadays? We should offer ourselves to God daily through prayer, worship, and obedience. The sabbath reminds us to set apart time for God. The monthly offering reminds us to give generously.

Chapter 29 outlines offerings for special feasts. These feasts were times of thanksgiving and celebration. What can we do to celebrate God?

Chapter 30 emphasizes keeping our word to God. We should be careful with our promises and honor our commitments especially when dedicating a portion of integrity to God.

Psalm 49 reminds us that wealth is temporary, but God is eternal. Instead of chasing riches, we should place our trust in Him.
