Day 51 - Numbers 33-34, Psalm 51

Numbers 33 is a detailed record of the Israelites’ journey from Egypt to the edge of the Promised Land. Each stop is listed, showing how God was with them through every stage of their wilderness experience.

Numbers 34 defines the boundaries of the Promised Land and assigns specific portions to each tribe. Where did these tribes come from? If you said from Jacob’s 12 children, that is correct.

Psalm 51 is a deeply personal prayer of repentance from David after his sin with Bathsheba. There is nothing worse than making a mistake. The mix of anger, guilt, shame, and so much more can be overwhelming. David goes to the best place he can, to God.
