Day 62 - Deuteronomy 28-29, Psalm 62

Deuteronomy 28 lists blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. How can I be obedient to a God that I can’t talk to? For this exact reason developing a personal relationship with God and learning to discern His voice is a priority.

In Deuteronomy 29 Moses reminds Isreal of God’s awesome power. He also reminds them that God’s covenant is for all—leaders, children, foreigners, and future generations. Let’s say that louder for those of you sitting in the back…NO ONE is to be left out.

Psalm 62 is a song of trust in God. It compares the unreliable nature of human power with God's dependability. That is a song I would love to hear.
