In Deuteronomy 30, Moses sets before Israel a choice: life and prosperity or death and destruction—a decision that seems easy. Yet, despite how clear it is, we often choose wrongly. Our flesh takes control, and the lines become blurred. Looking back, we recognize our mistakes, knowing we chose incorrectly. But even in our failures, God’s grace remains. We are left to learn a lesson, grow in wisdom, and experience His endless mercy.
In Deuteronomy 31, Moses prepares for his departure, passing leadership to Joshua. It reflects a powerful real-life lesson about transition, leadership, and trust in God’s plan. Nothing is eternal except our Father. We must be skilled at adapting to change.
Psalm 63 is a beautiful expression of deep longing for God, written by David while he was in the wilderness. Nothing satisfies like God. When trying to fill a void, starting with God can save a lot of wasted time and grief.
