Day 72 - Judges 6-8, Psalm 72

Judges 6-8 tells the story of Gideon, an unlikely hero called by God to deliver Israel from the Midianites. At first, Gideon doubts himself, questioning God's existence and asking for multiple signs. God patiently reassures him. With only 300 men, Gideon defeats an enormous army, proving that victory comes from the Lord, not human strength. We might feel unsure when God calls us to something bigger than ourselves, but He equips those He calls. When we rely on Him, even the impossible becomes possible.

Psalm 72 is a prayer for a king who leads with justice, protects the poor, and brings peace and prosperity.
