Disaster strikes. Swarms of locusts eat everything, leaving the land bare. Joel calls everyone to look to God. Sometimes trouble hits so hard we can’t fix it ourselves, it’s then we need to turn to Him fully. In Joel 2, The warning continues, but hope shines through. When the people repent, God promises to restore what was lost and pour out His Spirit on all people. Our broken places can be made new when we truly come back to Him. In Joel 3, God promises justice. Even when the world feels unfair, God is still in control and will set things right. Psalm 25 is a heartfelt prayer for guidance and mercy. The writer asks God to show the right path, forgive sins, and protect from enemies. It’s a reminder that trusting God means asking for help daily and walking humbly with Him.
