What if God called you to speak truth to someone stubborn? What if it was an entire nation? What if no one wanted to listen?
That’s Jeremiah’s story. He was young man, hesitant and afraid, chosen by God to deliver a message that would shake things up!
In Jeremiah 1, God calls Jeremiah as a prophet before he was even born. Jeremiah feels too young and scared, but God reassures him: “Do not be afraid… I am with you.” God equips those He calls. A perfect plan constructed before your creation.
In Jeremiah 2, God confronts Israel for abandoning Him. They traded the living fountain for cracked cisterns that hold no water. Are you relying on a fractured tank? Only God can fill our deepest needs.
In Jeremiah 3, though Israel was disloyal, God still calls them back. No matter how far we’ve drifted, God’s arms are always open. A relief for when we are feeling distant, we can rest knowing God is only a humble heart away.
In Ecclesiastes 1, Solomon speaks from a place of deep restlessness. He had wisdom, wealth, and success, everything people chase. Yet he looked around and felt a void. Solomon reflects on how life without God feels repetitive, empty, and confusing.
