I started Proyecto Propósito in 2012 without knowing what it would become. It could have grown into a successful English school. It could have been my exit from the corporate world. It could have allowed me to stay home with my children while still providing for my family.

As the years went on, I tried again and again to make it work. Every path I explored eventually led me to the same crossroads: How can I be both a successful businesswoman and a fruitful ministry leader at the same time?

Matthew 6:24 says, “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

For a long time, I believed the problem was success itself. But that was not true. The real issue was the concept of success becoming the master of my decisions. It slowly pulled me away from peace, from contentment, and from clarity.

Today, at the end of 2025, there is only one way I want to step into 2026. With my goals and purpose fully focused on Him. With my energy devoted to what I have been guided to do. With fear and doubt brought under control through strong faith and devotion. With social norms and expectations replaced by His will. Fueled by obedience, with one Master.

This year, Proyecto Propósito is focused on:

* Continuing our Bible classes, growing to a maximum of 150 students actively reading the Bible at all times.

* Launching online home groups to draw closer to our Bible students and cultivate deeper, more personal connections.

* Reaching our full capacity of 240 adult students and 120 teens in our English by Levels program.

* Continuing to sponsor 1st through 6th grade students in our English by Grade classes, with a goal of 120 sponsored students during the 2026 school year.

* Strengthening our outreach programs at Hope Opportunities and Castillo del Rey, expanding them into well-rounded, spiritually focused schools that impact more than 340 students.

* Expanding into our second public school in Lago de Yojoa, where the administration, staff, and students are eager to learn. This outreach will bring English instruction to an additional 150 students.

* Continuing our work in the Garifuna community of San Juan, serving kindergarten, elementary, and middle school levels, reaching over 200 students.

* Blessing our chapel through weekly visits from the local community, offering English instruction and discipleship.

* Opening advanced courses focused on fluency, pronunciation, interview preparation, and professional communication, with the clear objective of supporting job placement and long-term growth.

Over the last few years, we have witnessed steady and undeniable growth as my focus has shifted. What I have learned is this: He was never asking me to choose between faith and success.

He was guiding me to put Him first, and everything else followed.

It turns out, He wanted me to be a successful businesswoman all along.
