Workshops have the power to transform lives, and we’ve seen this firsthand. As part of our outreach program, we’ve created a series of engaging workshops to help people deepen their connection with God. Today, I want to share one of our most impactful workshops with you.
Workshop: Prayer in Action (for ages 8–11)
"Prayer in Action" is a hands-on workshop designed to help children understand the deeper meaning of the Lord’s Prayer. We begin by teaching the prayer itself, then break it down sentence by sentence, connecting its purpose to the students’ everyday experiences. Through interactive activities, meaningful discussions, and lots of fun (and candy!), the kids engage with prayer in a personal and memorable way. To wrap up the session, each child creates their own prayer bracelet—a keepsake to remind them of the sacred words they’ve explored.
Recently, we brought this workshop to Comayagua, where we worked with a group of English students hosted in a local kindergarten. The experience was nothing short of amazing, and the children left inspired and eager to grow in their faith.

Here’s a beautiful example of a child’s adaptation of the Lord’s Prayer:
I love you, God. I give you all my worries. Thank you, God, for taking care of me and my family. Sorry if I ever let you down. Help me forgive my enemies. Help me be a good girl. Guide me on the right path. Amen.
This heartfelt, simple prayer—written by one of our youngest participants—reminds us that sometimes our best teachers are children.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. Together, we’re bringing God’s love and teachings to the next generation.
