Like a bride preparing for her big day, our chapel is slowly coming together—one beautiful piece at a time. Each step, each hand involved, drawn in by His perfect timing.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting deeply on gratitude. I know how to be thankful for what I have, but am I also grateful for what I’ve lost? I rejoice in the open doors—but do I honor the ones that were closed? Am I truly grateful for my parents, my friends, my family? Why should I be? Why not?
Ultimately, my gratitude belongs to my Creator—omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent. Though I am just a fleeting breath in the vastness of His universe, today I want to pause and lift up a simple, sincere prayer of thanks.
Thank you, Father, for caring enough to design a plan so perfectly tailored—down to the details I don’t yet understand.
Thank you for giving me strength to follow Your voice, even when it's hard.
Thank you for Your patience when I fall short, again and again.
Thank you for the peace You pour into my life, and for the purpose that keeps me walking forward.
Thank you for each person You’ve inspired to get involved—Your fingerprints are on every hand and heart.
Thank you for the rejections, the redirections, the “no’s” that shaped us and made us stronger.
Thank you for not letting us do it our way, but lovingly leading us to do it Your way.
Thank you for Your unending, unfailing love.
Father, I give You my life—do with it whatever You will. I trust You. And it would be my deepest honor to serve You, not just now, but eternally.
