May 30, 2024 - Day 3 – Sweep. Again.

Wake to a scarlet sunrise, crying for rain.

Connect, read, write, pray. Share.

Sweep. Dust everywhere.

Cold shower. Blessed relief from the heat.

Organic whole foods breakfast. No other option.

Sweep. Dust everywhere. Again. Work in the garden. Sprouts, a real luxury.

School work in pajamas. All 100’s, not like we measure. You be you.

Bike ride. It’s hot.

Lunch. There is no bread. Tortillas it is.

Sweep. Gospel music rescues my soul. Breathe.

Bike to the beach. Little bodies need movement.

Jump in the pool. Cool down. Booboo, it’s ok Fred.

Dinner? It is only 3:00 o’clock.

Sweep? Looks clean to me?

Nap? Nahhh…

My days are filled with rugged adventure, dirty, sweaty experiences and the occasional boo boo. Time seems endless. Life seems slow. A lot gets done. My body feels strong. God feels so close. I sleep like a baby.
