Nov 5 Ministry Update – Fund Raising

Do you know how missionaries work? When I was young, the vibe was different. We had a few missionary friends, and many of them were fully funded by their church. These opportunities still exist, but they are few and far between.

Now, most missionaries are self-funded. They are in charge of raising their own support. People who know who they are and what they are capable of come alongside them with encouragement and donations.

I’ve never been very good at fundraising. I’ve tried on many occasions, but my efforts usually fall flat because my heart wasn’t in it.

This time it’s different. You’re all in trouble now.

 I have a ministry program for 2026 that needs funding, and I need to raise $4,500 USD by February 1st. This is the absolute minimum.

These funds will support an English, Bible, and feeding program in the schools where we serve. The money will be used to teach, support, and share with children throughout the 2026 school year (the Honduran school year runs from February to November).

We’ll visit the schools every Thursday—Kindergarten twice a month, and the primary and middle school the other two Thursdays. Each visit will include a Bible class, an English support class, and a school lunch.

This will be our fourth year doing this, and now that we’ve seen the results, we’re ready to grow. In 2026, we want more stability and commitment, higher-quality classes, and nutritious snacks to help fight the growing issue of childhood diabetes in the community.

I’ve been in training, and this is the year.

 Please help me reach my goal of $4,500. This money will be used honorably and in service to God’s kingdom and plan.
