Why is it so hard to stay connected? He is our creator, our health, our solution, and our life. And still, it is hard to stay connected.
It seems so obvious that He should be a priority but for most of us, He is not. I give Him a few minutes, at times a whole hour, on Sunday, an entire morning. Is that enough?
As we choose what is important to us, we are forced to shut things down, stop, give up and set priorities. As we place God as our urgency in our life, he molds and at times shaves away the people and interests that aren’t meant for us. This can be an excruciating process. We can fall in love with a certain person, or with a job opportunity. A social status or a luxurious hobby can take over. The desire to explore the world or giving our family everything, they deserve becomes center.
What if there were a God that designed you, tailor made, to fit into a cosmic puzzle and you were the missing piece. A piece with a specific purpose. A piece meant to bridge the gap. Maybe the last piece that everyone is waiting for.
Let His purpose in you be your purpose. Let His overwhelming wisdom take you over. Let His light shine through you. Let your life be a testimony for those of us that are trying to gather the courage to make that jump. Trust Him.
