I have never wanted anyone to tell me what to do. I have never wanted anyone in charge. I have always preferred to do more work and have more control over an outcome than letting other be in charge and being forced to accept their results. I have never used this to solely benefit myself. I have always tried to help anyone in any way that I can.
In this prayer of surrender I would like to clarify that I do believe that You know what is best. I know You have my best interest at heart every time. I trust you with every step and with every decision. I have grown to trust You more than I trust myself. I can walk blindly knowing that You are guiding me. When faced with a painful outcome, I remember your mercy and grace and it reaffirms and clarifies your purpose in me. I surrender completely. Your will be done in my life and in the lives of my children. Today. Tomorrow and Always. Amen.
